Why God might not answer your prayer

I recently spoke on the 4 REASONS why God may not answer your prayers for success at work.

Nobody had ever heard this at church, even though the teaching was straight from the Bible.

Here are the 4 REASONS:

1) We ask with WRONG MOTIVES – James 4:3 - When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.

2) We LACK FAITH – James 1:6-7 - But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.

3) We DON’T OBEY GOD – Proverbs 28:9 - If anyone turns a deaf ear to my instruction, even their prayers are detestable. See also Jeremiah 11:14 and 14:11 to see how God tells his prophet Jeremiah NOT TO PRAY for the people of Israel, just because of this reason!

4) We DON’T RESPECT OUR SPOUSE - 1 PETER 3:7 - Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives… so that nothing will hinder your prayers.
